Holi is one of the great festival that are celebrate with the colours and gulal & also known as “Holi is the festival of colours”. It celebrates long befores with water balloons and pichkari’s . Holi was only most amusing festival of the world and it was the most ancient festival of the India. It is also known as “Holika”.
HISTORY OF HOLI
In India, Some states Bengal and Orissa, Holi purnima is also celebrated as the birthday of Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. The origin of Holi believed to be before the birth of Christ legend assossinated with demon king Hiranyakashyap. He wanted motive of ruling the heaven of the earth and everybody in his kingdom to worship only him and the underworld by great defeating Vishnu. Powered by a boon granted to him. Hiranyakashyap thought he had become more powerful and invincible.
On his orders his whole state started praying him, dismissing the god. But his son, Prahalad became an devotee of Lord Narayana. Hiranyakashyap commanded his sister to kill his sons with the help of Holika. Hiranyakashyap’s sister, who was immune to fire. Holika to enter a blazing fire with Prahalad in her lap. But in fire Prahalad saved by the grace of the god for his entreme devotion whereas Holika burned to ashes. Therefore, the victory of good over evil and also the triumph of devotion and so the Indian all celebrates the Holi.
HOW PEOPLE CELEBRATES HOLI IN INDIA?
Holi is arrival of the Spring harvest season and the end of the winter in the country. Holi celebrated in the month of Pholguna of the Hindu calendar. In India, people celebrate Holi with splashing water and smearing each other with colours. All the children were play Holi with the water balloons water guns. In Holi all the people supported, contribute and organise the party and enjoyed dance with the popular Holi songs.
But in India, Some states celebrated with the different style. Holi is also celebrates in Vrindavan and Mathura are very famous.
Holi is celebrating in different style with the people in morning they celebrate with the mud and dung with all the friends and people.In afternoon they all celebrates with the different selection of colours with the balloon and pichkari’s with splashing and smearing each other. In evening all the people were celebrates with the gulal and takes Ashirwad from the senior citizens and lastly rhe people were eat sweets each other as a decribe the happiness of the Holi…
